When we think protein, we usually think meat. But these plant based proteins are fantastic sources just waiting to nourish your body. While we love the many protein powders available these days, sometimes we just want to get our protein diet from food that looks like, well, food.

A complete protein refers to foods that contain all nine of the necessary amino acids that your body can’t produce on its own. You only need to consume all of the amino acids in a day’s diet, (having rice, say, at one meal and beans at another would be completely fine). It can make it easier to just get all nine in one meal, which is what these single foods or simple combinations are designed to do.

Have a look at info graphic given below, beautifully designed by the Little Pine and enlighten yourself with the plants which provide us with the maximum of protein.
